Welcome to the We Are All Needed podcast, a space where we together will inspire people to do something good. This podcast is for all of us that care. We care about how we spend our days, how we show up for each other and for the planet.

I'm your host, Alexander Nash. I am many things as we all are, but the things I most proudly identify with are, I'm an entrepreneur, a mother, business coach, athlete and meditation teacher. I've roamed the impact startup world for over 15 years now and I feel like it is time to share the stories of so many fascinating people doing so many incredible things.

Together with the guests on this show, we will provide inspiration that no act is too small and that we are all needed. Let's dive in to this week's episode. Hi everyone. Today will be the first solo episode of the We Are All Needed podcast with only me, your host, Alexander Nash.

And I'm titling this episode five things that I learned from producing my first podcast season because this will be episode number 10. And I've decided in my own head that each season is 10 episodes because when you create your own things, you can kind of make your own rules, right?

So we'll see where this goes. Please, if you listen to this, I would love to hear some feedback afterwards. It's a very vulnerable and spur of the moment experience. so you'll have to bear with me. I've written a very loose outline of what I want to speak about but I kind of wanted it to be a conversation and not me just reading a script so we'll see where we go from here.

So I'll start with number one and the first lesson that I've had from creating the season is that there is so much hope and there are so many amazing ideas out there and I just feel for our well -being and for the planet's well -being and for society's well -being we need to hear more of those.

The good stories, they kind of drown in the in the buzz the buzzle of all the negative stories out there not saying that the negative stories aren't important. Of course, they are all stories are important, but sometimes I do believe that it's important to also lift the stories of hope and the people that are really trying to make change.

And in the podcast, I finish all the episodes with asking a question to the guest that if they have a tip, you know, a simple tip that we as listeners can kind of take with us into the day of something that we can do to create positive impact for the planet and humanity.

And I'm going to kind of go through the ones that are that we've heard so far because I find them truly inspiring. So whenever you can try and buy local salad and local vegetables. Always be kind. Never stop educating yourself.

Try to be of service to someone every day. Keep an open mind. Look close in your own local community first. Next time you feel like you want to buy some new clothes, see if you can arrange a clothing swap.

And next time you're out for some pencils or papers. Why not use plentiful stationery? Great advice. I think all of those nine tips from the guests that we've had in this season. And lesson number two that I learned from producing this podcast.

It was and it is much easier and much harder than I thought it was to create a podcast. I feel like it's been one of those things. It often goes like this for me and I don't know if it's the same for you.

But before I try something…
