The Artisan’s Way

The artisan’s way came to me one day,
It picked me up and carried me away,
I was placed down in front of an oak,
and using my hands I set to work.

My hands became to work as an extension of me,
Of my thoughts, unedited, it just came to be
It is to say, the artisan’s way set free the truths that
resided within me.

A collection of thoughts carried through the ages,
Transcending our being to guide in our living,
All we have to do is listen,
Not easy with all the background noise of egoism.

So, stand, stop and think what you do,
The how and the why and is it really you?
The sun will rise and then the moon will take its place,
Because they understand what is at stake.

The question is can we leave behind
The methods that have been indoctrinated into our minds?
So, stop and think then take a leap,
And join me on a journey to seek,
Of how we might live our lives to feel the truths inside.
